In September, we were finally able to get up to Edmonton with our annual donation. This year we were able to contribute 12,000.00 to the PCICU and a portion to the Little Heart Heroes Camp. It always feels so good to give back and we are fortunate to have the support to be able to donate.
We were able to make another donation this year to support families who have to take a similar journey as ours. We decided to donate 50 books, written by Alanna Knobben, called “Carry You With Me”. Her words and the beautiful illustrations by Katie Berggren have brought so much comfort and love into our healing. We hope the families can find some comfort in this book as well.
We will always hold space for these families and hope they know they are not alone…
